Yelling from the Deep Soul-A Great Expressionism Oil Painting

It is said that recently an expressionism oil painting entitled Scream has been priced for worshipping price at more than one hundred million US dollar in an art auction. Surpassing oil painting by Picasso's, Scream now becomes the most expensive authentic oil painting in art history. As an artwork of the late nineteenth century, it exceedingly attracts lots of art lovers. Even the copies and reproductions of it are numerous. Its original painter, Edvard Munch, is a prominent artist featured in expressionism manner.
Munch was born in a doctor family in Oslo, Norway. He had ever stayed in Paris to study art and drawing. From the typical art style in his expressionism oil painting, we can find the trace of influence by Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Gauguin. Most of his artworks of Edvard Munch are focused on anxiety, terror, and pessimism of life conveyed by the twisted lineal and violent color. Love and death are the two major themes of his oil paintings. As an artist from Northern Europe, character of high latitudes is also revealed on his art creations.
With the length of 1.8m and the width of 1.1m, Scream is a print oil painting of 1895. It is the representative painting of Munch, and it is the one which makes its painter famous as well.
