The Liberation from Stillness- Les Oiseaux Oil Painting

Although I have been an adult for several years, I haven’t enjoyed the pleasure of mature more. Instead, I find my troubles coming one by one gradually. These troubles never appeared in my childhood and teenager time. I want to return to my old good times. I feel depressive, and I want a blue sky which I can fly with freedom just like one oil painting I saw last week. It is Les Oiseaux, which is painted by Henri Matisse. Henri Matisse is one of the most representative fauvism artists. As a French painter, inevitable romantic characteristics are full of his art works. As we all know, strong and sensitive feeling of color is the most obvious feature of fauvism oil painting from visual abstract. Matisse’s color is changeable and proper in his creations. He seemingly has a unique intuition on pigment. He is a Jack of all trades in fauvism art creation; besides painting, he has made great contribution on sculpture, printing and etc. His paintings are of all styles. He can make his colors as lumps; he can make his color wrathful with him; he can also make his color break out from peace, such as his Les Oiseaux. Les Oiseaux, which means sky in English, is a lucid and lively oil painting. A line of birds are flying in the azure blue sky. They are likely flying to a free and merry realm. I am eager to flying with them badly. I think it’s time to release myself.
