The Reflection of Childhood-Children Oil Painting
Yesterday I saw a very lovely oil painting in the house of one of my friends. It is a reproduction of Paul Cezanne’s oil painting The Boy in the Red Vest. The boy in the painting is a teenager. He is in deep thought of something with his elbow putting on the table supporting his head. I find myself at that age from the perplexed expression from his eyes. I threw myself into a memory on my boyhood in that time. It is a unforgettable time to stir. And I admire of the expressive force of the artist.
The Boy in the Red Vest is a post-impressionism oil painting painted in 1888. Its painter, Paul Cezanne is a well-known French artist featured in post-impressionism style peered with Vincent Van Gogh. His greatest contribution is laying the foundation of the alternation from the nineteenth century conception of artistic endeavor to a brand new world of the twentieth century. He created many children paintings. The images in his paintings mostly seem quiet and peaceful, which gives viewers a reverie of the childhood of themselves. Therefore the copies and reproductions of his children oil painting are very popular among the populace.
I think I need to appreciate morechildren oil paintings of Cezanne for I have been at the age of recalling of my boyhood. Maybe I should have such an oil painting in my study.
