Broken Heart of a Woman-Weeping Woman Oil Painting

Never there is an oil painting like The Weeping Woman can have the strong and fierce expressive force which shakes every viewer’s nerves. The Weeping Woman is a cubism oil painting painted by Pablo Picasso in 1937. The woman image of this painting is Dora Maar, who is said to be one of Picasso ’s long-term lovers. Her life experience is quite complex and confused. She lived with Picasso for more than ten years. And she has been a photographer and very active in lots of parties and activities. Her goal is to be an outstanding professional painter. She has did great endeavor all her life long.
The oil painting depicts a weeping woman’s face in exaggerated and odd manner. The color and hue of it seem gorgeous and bright. The woman in the painting is weeping so badly that her face is distorted; her eyes, nose, and lips are all in exceedingly gay colors. For the first glance, most of viewers would feel uncomfortable of its abnormal shapes. Pablo Picasso has his own unique art technique and character. From The Weeping Woman we find that, Picasso shaped an ugly image to express real beauty. It is no doubt that every viewer finds the beauty from his excellent cubism art works.
The weeping woman in the oil painting is so touched that each of us can feel her broken heart. I think it is the fascinating of Picasso’s art, extraordinary, exaggerated but deep from soul.
