As an art lover, I have seen quantities of art works. Oil painting is my favorite art style. I'd like to study the color, hue, composition and images in Oil paintings. Peerless artists create their great paintings leading by intuition of their own conception on art and the inspiration from the reality. Each of the oil paintings is the crystallization of its painter's hardworking; each detail of genre oil painting is undergone a serious progress, especially the choice of images. Image can be considered as the soul of a painting. The decision on it is essential.
Choice of image is not like writing of an essay; it has no settled theme or title. Artists always have the idea on their art work in the first period after they experienced something unforgettable or impressed by some amazing nature scenery. When they have the ideal of oil painting, they usually have an impression from the reality on their mind. To achieve a completed art work, they have to shape the proper image for the art creation. Once the image is decided, the whole composition of the painting is set up. Then he can complete his painting stroke by stroke. Although the images we see are not alike its stereotype in reality, they are sublimations from reality indeed.
Images in oil painting may seem absurd, abstract and amazing; but they can be found in our everyday life. Perhaps that's why viewers would be moved by art, for elements in art are trifles around them.
