Listen Respectfully to the Soul-Oil Painting by Millet

Millet is the most respected artist among the public. He displayed his art in an unsophisticated way; it is so pure and innocent that we can find the essence of human soul. Each of his oil painting seems fine and smooth. As a Frenchman, romance is a necessary feature, both in himself and his artworks. Millet's romance maybe the most tangible and plain, without any glorious element only naïve things stay there silently.
The shepherdess, peasant, and animals in Millet's oil paintings are so kind and spontaneous that you can feel they are beaming at us. Realism is a hard and long way to keep with, but Millet is in calm all the time and walking on the way by singing madrigal leisurely. Even you are not an art lover, you can not find reasons to refuse Millet's paintings. Because the amazing power of these paintings is originated from human soul, that is to say, everything is the purest.
Great Shakespeare once chanted for artworks:
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate;Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,And summer's lease hath all too short a date;Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;And every fair from fair sometime declines,By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;But thy eternal summer shall not fade,Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st:So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
I can never write for Millet's oil paintings as Shakespeare, but I think this poem is the fittest portraiture to Millet's art. Let's pay our authentic honor to Millet-the artist for people and nature.
