The Enlightening Man of Art-Impression on Oil Painting

Continue to recollect my university life. This time, this moment, the hero of my reminiscence is my professor of European culture, Mr. Lu. He is one of the most captivating men I have ever come into contact with, And not only I myself but also all my good old guys are fascinated by him. It is interesting that students in our faculty always argue about what is the most attractive moment in his class. Someone think it is when he displaying the essence of western music, but the other regard his interpretation on classical oil painting is pretty fantastic.
For me, I was touched at one fell swoop by him when he gave a lecture on classical oil painting passionately. It was a merry afternoon; the time when we set foot in our classroom we felt the fatherly eye contact on each of us. Our dearest Sir began our class with a deep and magnetic voice. He told us how to catch the spotlight of an oil painting, concisely and meaningfully. He said if we have chance, all of us should appreciate the art of human body by our heart. Never had been an elder suggested on human body. Even I was a boy, I felt shy then. But when I saw a nude oil painting by Da Vinci, HomoVitruvianus, I was shocked by the amazing art.
From then on, I have kept the hobby of appreciating oil paintings. Sometimes I can’t understand an oil painting by art masters, however, I can feel the inspiration it brings to me; it is the pure substance from soul transferred by its creator.
